Daddy and I have been putting all of our shower gifts in our spare room so we could go through and wash and organize everything. I had to take these pictures to show you everything we have been given (and this isn't even everything). We are so grateful for the generosity of everyone and love all of the pink in our house! As you can see, we also got a ton of books! Daddy and I cannot wait to read to you and hope you will develop of love of learning and reading.
You also got a ton of hair bows, which Mommy is so excited about! If you are like me when you are born, you may not have much hair! We are hoping you get Daddy's curly hair or at least just his hair! Gus Gus was so cooperative and actually didn't mind the fact that I put one of your bows in his hair!
Yesterday, Daddy and I went to a birth preparation class at the hospital where we will have you. He was such a good sport to come along with me because it was an all day class. We are both glad we went as we now know a little bit more of what to expect. I must say that I am a little bit nervous about the whole delivery but watching some of the movies we did and the babies being born, I got so emotional thinking about having you and being able to see you and hold you for the first time. I know it is going to be the most beautiful experience of our lives and I cannot wait to share it with Daddy.
We have just four short weeks left and I cannot believe how fast it is coming. I was telling Daddy that with all of the time it has taken us to get you here and with being married for the length of time that we have, it's amazing that we don't feel a least a little bit more prepared. But we have decided that I don't think you could ever prepare enough to have a baby because there is so much that we will learn once you are here and as you grow. But oh, how we cannot wait to watch you grow!
We love you so much B! I don't think words will ever be able to express it enough to you.
Keep growing strong and we will see you very soon!
All our love,
Mommy & Daddy
