Yesterday, Grandma, Aunt Angie and Aunt Brie threw a shower for us with all of my aunts and cousins as well as old neighbors and friends. I think there were about sixty invitations that were sent out and most everyone came. Mommy had so much fun and is so grateful for everyone that came. You were definitely spoiled again and got a lot of cute clothes, blankets and other fun things. You also got a lot of books, which I am so excited about. I can't wait to hold you and read all of these fun books to you every night.

Cute cousin Kayden. He was enjoying all of the yummy treats.
You might be wondering why there was a guy that came to a shower, because that normally doesn't happen. Well he just happens to me one of my dear friends from growing up. His name is Dan and his wife Kris was my young women leader growing up. One time I called over there, and when he asked who I was, I told him it was just Jill calling for Kris. Well since that time, he has called me Just Jill, which has been for almost fifteen years. The main reason for him coming was that he and his wife also struggled for a really long time to get pregnant. They were only able to have one daughter. He knew we had some struggles trying to get you here. I saw him at Grandma and Grandpa's ward a few months ago and when I told him we were pregnant, he started to cry because he was so happy for us. He is such a sweet man. A few weeks ago, when Grandma took the shower invitation to his wife, Dan wanted to know why he wasn't invited!! Well needless to say, he was so sweet and dropped by yesterday for a minute to say hello on his way to work. I was so glad he came and am so grateful for him and so many others that share in our excitement!
The yummy food and cute decorations that we had at the shower.
This is Mommy and her dear friend Kelsie. Kelsie and I ran track and played soccer together in high school. She was one of my best friends and was such a sweetheart to drive all of the way from Heber to come to our shower. I was so grateful to see her and especially that she would come all of that way just to spend some time at the shower.
Always remember to be a good friend to others in school and growing up because you will need those friends when you are older and will be so grateful to have them.
These are Grandma's cousins, JoAnn and Dana and your Great-Grandma Firth and Aunt Sue.
One of the many sweet little outfits you got.

Cute cousin Kayden again!
Baby B, there are so many people that are so happy for you to come to our family! Everyone has been so kind and are so excited for us to be able to have you. Daddy and I are so excited to meet you in a very few short weeks. I can't wait to see you for the first time and to hold you in my arms and smell you. I can't even begin to comprehend the feelings and love that I will have for you. I also am completely looking forward to seeing your Daddy hold you for the first time. For the longest time, he has told me that he wanted a little girl. He is going to be the best Daddy and you will see quickly why Mommy is so in love with him. He is going to take such good care of us and always know that will do anything in the world to make sure you are loved, protected and taken care of.
