On Friday, May 13th, your sweet Great Grandpa and Grandma Couch came by to visit you. They were in town for their High School Reunion and were so excited to stop by and meet you for the first time. They think you are absolutely beautiful and so precious. They couldn't believe how perfect all of your little features are.
I was also so excited for you to finally meet the great lady that you are named after. This is Mommy's Grandma Bernice, who's name you have as your middle name. Daddy and I know that it is an older name and you will probably rarely ever hear but we love that it is unique and special to you as you are named after two amazing Great Grandma's.
When Mommy was in school, I often had papers for my classes that would ask me why my parent's named me what they named me and why it was special. Well Grandma and Grandpa simply named me Jillian because they liked the name. It is definitely unique and I rarely hear anyone else named that, so I really like my name but other than that, there is no reason they named me my name. When Daddy and I were thinking about names for you, I wanted at least your middle name to have a special significance. With both Daddy and Mommy's Grandma's having the same name, and both being woman that we love and have such fun memories of, we found it so fitting to name you after them.
Grandma and Grandpa great stayed for almost two hours, holding you the whole time. You are so loved by so many people Breklyn! We have been waiting for you to join our family for a long time and everyone is so thrilled to have you finally here!
