Today, we headed back up to visit Dr. Rose. We sure do love him and are really going to miss him when he retires, which I hope isn't too soon. He wanted you to come back in so he could follow up on your weight gain from last week and to also see how your little cold was doing. Last week he said that he wanted to see you gaining at least an ounce a week. Well you definitely didn't disappoint in the weight gain!! You gained 11 ounces in 8 days!! You are now weighing in at a whopping 6 lbs. 8 ozs. He was very impressed and joked that he is now going to have to put you on a diet!
While we were in there, I talked with him about the crying spells you have been having during the night. You will wake up screaming for a few seconds and then go back to sleep. Mommy and Daddy feel awful for you and I was asking him what he thought it might be. After talking about you, he said that it sounds like you have reflux or you might possibly be allergic to something in Mommy's milk. He called in some Zantac for you and we are going to give that a shot and see how it does.
Mommy finally got you ready for the day and put you in a real outfit (not your onesie). I think you look pretty dang cute!!
