Daddy and I were able to go to Hawaii the first week in February. We thought we'd better take one more big trip while we would just have to pack for two of us. Grandma always says that you have been to more states in the seven short months you have been in my belly, than she has been to in her whole life. I really think she might be right. One day I will have to look back at my trips and see all of the places we have been together.
Daddy and I had such a wonderful time and I think you enjoyed mommy being relaxed and not stressed out like I am at work. We slept in, ate really yummy food (I think my belly looks a lot bigger in this picture than it did in my one I just took this week!) and saw some beautiful places! It was so nice laying in bed in the morning and feeling you kick.
Daddy felt you kick for the first time about a week before we left for Hawaii but while we were there, you started kicking a lot more. We would lay in bed in the morning and just giggle at him being able to feel you move. Daddy was wondering what you were doing in my belly because it sure felt like you were doing some acrobatic moves! I don't think there is anything more precious than feeling you move around, knowing you are healthy and getting that much bigger!
This is what mommy's belly looked like at about 26 1/2 weeks.
We flew to Hawaii on Sunday, January 30th. I woke up Monday morning and my belly had literally popped out! I have heard people say that your belly seems to "pop" out overnight and I figured it would be more of a gradual growth. Nope! I literally popped out overnight! I showed daddy my belly Monday morning and he just started laughing. He couldn't believe how big my belly had grown over night! Also, I think it was definitely obvious to others as well. Everywhere we would go in Hawaii, people would ask me when I was due! That's a good sign that you definitely look pregnant. I must say it was definitely a little odd to look in the mirror and try and get used to seeing my belly that big but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! I have loved being pregnant and I think I might even miss it a little when I am not anymore but seeing your beautiful face will be so much better!
Keep growing strong baby girl! We love you so much!
